The relationship starts months before labor, the day you sign. From then on you have a real person to text about your provider, your birth preferences, the thing your sister-in-law told you, or the thing you read at midnight. You'll get honest, evidence-informed answers, good referrals, and help building a birth plan that reflects you. Hospital, birth center, or home, we want you informed and confident, never pressured.
Then, in labor: someone who stays calm when you can't, explains what's happening without taking the decision away, and gives your partner something real to do.

One primary doula. A team behind you.Your primary doula gets to know you, your birth plans, and your preferences. Behind her is the Pocket Doula Care team, providing collaboration, communication, and backup throughout your care.
Your primary doula is your person from then on. And because birth doesn't check anyone's calendar, the rest of the team is right behind her. Doulas get sick, or another baby arrives the same night. If that happens, a trained Pocket Doula who has been briefed on your plan steps in. Our doulas talk to each other, check in on each other, and know each other's families, so a handoff never feels like starting over. Your doula has your back. We have hers.
